Twittering doesn't work?
I need a little help.
I am TRYING to set up to use SMS/Twitter (40404) to send messages to Sandy.
I already "introduced" my twitter self to Sandy (with the confirmation code) and got "Success, you are now ready to receive twitter reminders".
BUT... every time I try to send a message (via 40404) to: d s .... [insert msg here] I get a reply: Direct from S: You deserve a personal assistant! Sign up for free iwantsandy.com etc...
What am I doing wrong??? I want to be able to ADD stuff (or see stuff) to my Sandy list while I'm on the go (often things occur to me as I'm walking to my car).

Inappropriate?Yesterday Twitter acknowledged some problems with their SMS gateway on AT&T Networks. That could be related to this. I'm not sure if they've fixed this or not.

Inappropriate?I don't know if it makes any difference, I use T-Mobile for my cell/SMS. Today, I received a tweet from Sandy from a reminder I sent via email earlier this week (GREAT, making progress!!).
Since it seemed to be working, I SENT a tweet [d s r enter grades @todo] with several things to remember, and once again, got the same message "you deserve a personal assistant...." meaning Sandy will TALK TO ME via tweets, but won't LISTEN to my tweets.
I've been trying to tweet TO Sandy for weeks... have NOT succeeded even once! :( End up getting home and emailing or posting directly thru iwantsandy.com

Have you tried sending her a DM via Twitter without your phone? (Simply using the Web Interface)? -

I *am* following Sandy, and Sandy IS following me. I went to the Twitter site, my home page, and sent a DM [d s r check portal @todo] and again got s DM back "you deserve a personal assistant...."
I think Sandy is Deaf like me! (which is why SANDY and TWITTER are so much easier than JOTT for me :)

go to your sandy settings page (iwantsandy.com/settings) and Remove all the Twitter stuff.. Then logout and close your browser windows. Fire it back up, go back to your sandy settings page and set up Twitter again (another confirmation code and everything). Sometimes twitter takes a header during the registration process and it doesn't work quite right afterwards, and a simple "reset" fixes it. -
Inappropriate?Did as instructed, re-set up my twitter intro and got my confirmation code. Did a TEST, got a msg from Sandy. Sent the previous tweet which had 4 to-do items in it.
Now got a reply: "direct from s. I got: #5 create email list for sponsors" (there were 4 remember @todo items in the original tweet to Sandy).
Apparently, although I put

Sandy saw it as 1 message and truncated it (I see the first item in my list and half of the 2nd item from my list). Can I send more than ONE @todo item in an SMS (I don't have UNlimited texting)?? If so, HOW?

Inappropriate?well twitted has a 140 character limit which I believe you have exceeded. Also I don't think you can send multiple commands via twitter. That function only works via email.
I could be wrong tho as I dont twitter sandy much. I recommend you experiment via the website (so you don't eat your SMS) and report back your results. -
Inappropriate?ahhh.... I was counting/watching 160 char for SMS, forgot abt 140 char for twitter. will play with it a bit more, but at least now Sandy is listening to me :)
