Can I change the default date format to UK settings eg dd/mm/yy?

Inappropriate?OK - I found out how to change it now, but it's hidden away - when I click on settings up at the top left of the screen, i get a quick flicker of a variety of tab headings that then get covered up by the line that starts with 'How I work' and then all I see is the email settings below - one of the tabs I think was date settings. the only way I could get to it was through the link in the Sandy Guide. I think the choices for settings might be getting hidden in this way?
