Use of Contact keywords in non-Contact items
I have noticed that if you ever use a bit of typical Contact info, then Sandy will automatically make is a contact. I am in IT, so I get a lot of the following:
Remember to Make Michael Ramm a City email address @work @todo
When I send this to Sandy, she makes a contact with:
Name: Make Michael Ramm
City Emailaddress: Remember to a
Tagged with @todo, @work
That is NOT what I want. I want an item that says:
Make Michael Ramm a City email address
Tagged with @todo, @work
So that I know have a true reminder to make an email address for the person.
Another problem that I run into is when I have to return a call:
Remember Michael Ramm XXX-XXXX Symantic out of date? @inbox @work
gives me a contact:
Name: Michael Ramm
Phone: XXX-XXXX
Tagged with @inbox, @work
When I want:
Michael Ramm XXX-XXXX Symantic out of date?
Tagged with @inbox @work
In the contact form, I lose the MOST important bits if information. That is not acceptable.
I appreciate Sandy automagically creating contacts for me, in some situations, but most of the time, when I use typical 'Contact' information it is for a one time event that I need to work on, and then it will be forgotten.
I hope that it can be worked out so that we can use 'contact' info in regular notes without them being made into contacts.

Inappropriate?Hi, Michael,
You can prevent Sandy from parsing within a string by enclosing it in quotes. I tried your examples as shown below and got good results (also shown below!).
Sent:
Remember to "Make Michael Ramm a City email address" @work @tod
Received:
I've taken note of this and added it to your to-do list:
#1 Make Michael Ramm a City email address
- tagged with @todo, @work
Sent:
Remember “Michael Ramm XXX-XXXX Symantic out of date?” @inbox @work
Received:
I'll remember:
#1 Michael Ramm XXX-XXXX Symantic out of date?
- tagged with @inbox, @work

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?Jeff, Thanks for the update. When I tried the 2nd number with an actual phone number, it created a contact card, just as before.
Name: Michael Ramm
Phone: 123-4567
Tagged with @inbox, @work
I wonder how we can tell Sandy not to make a contact card for one hot items.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?By golly, you're right - I tried that second example myself and sure enough Sandy made it a contact!! I guess those quotes aren't quite the bullet-proof shield I thought they were!
So, Sandy dev's - what's up with this? -
Inappropriate?Another test:
Remind me to "check to see if Julie's email address is xxxx@xxxxxx.org" @inbox
Remind me to "Go to City Hall, 3500 McFarland Blvd" @inbox
Works correctly and does NOT make a contact, just a regular note.
Remind me to "Call Michael at 210-1996" @inbox
Worked correctly...strange!
WOW!!
Remember to "Call Michael at 210-1996" @inbox
Makes a contact card.
It is the DIFFERENCE between Remember and Remind!!!
Surely a dev would (or should) have known this.
I’m optimistic
