What link do I use for subscription into iCal?
I'd like to subscribe to my "Sandy stuff" from iCal. What URL do I use for that?

Howdy,
Glad you found it!
Just in case anyone else is looking for the link to subscribe to the appointments Sandy knows about, you'll find it in the right-hand sidebar on your Today (or any other day's) page at:
http://iwantsandy.com/home
Or you can paste the direct webcal URL right into Outlook 2007 or iCal and friends:
webcal://iwantsandy.com/list.ics

Inappropriate?I can't seem to subscribe to my list(s) in gCal as described above. I get an error stating: "The address that you provided did not contain a calendar in a valid iCal or GData format."
Should I be able to do this? I subscribe to several other ics calendars in gCal. -
Inappropriate?I followed the new iCal instructions on help/feeds, and now the color-coded calendar names in the "Calendars" box at upper left are missing -- so I have no way to see which calendars I have active, or to select or view one at a time!
The subscription succeeded ... in fact, it succeeded twice -- my computer seemed to freeze, so I force-quit iCal during the subscription process and started again -- and now I am double-subscribed to Sandy, and can't find any way to unsubscribe, because of the problem above.
Any advice?
I'm currently running OS X 10.4.11 and iCal 2.0.5. I will check for iCal updates. -
Inappropriate?I did succeed in deleting the duplicate calendar (by some trickery). But my list of calendars is still missing, and I don't know why...
-
Inappropriate?I'm trying to sync with Calgoo (which takes ical subscriptions) but it comes back 'invalid calendar location' after I tried several times.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? It doesn't seem to be Calgoo as I am able to import calendars from Icalshare no problem. I just signed up today could that be part of the issue?
-
Inappropriate? When I add the link webcal://iwantsandy.com/list.ics to google calendar via the add calendar button in the field labeled "If you know the address to a calendar (in iCal format), you can type in the address here." I get this error:
"Could not fetch the URL"
I can't say this really surprises me because that is a very generic URL. Even if gcal could accept that URL, how would it find my specific items from such a general address with nothing specific (like a UID) to my account?
Likewise the RSS URL http://iwantsandy.com/list.rss results in a 404. There's no there there.
I’m wanting some QA done on this thing
-
Inappropriate? The link to list.rss used to be in the sidebar in /home, but it's not any more...
This page still says to go to your "home": http://iwantsandy.com/help/feeds#cale...
but probably it should just have a link for the http://iwantsandy.com/list.ics
