When I add a reminder to call Jim Jones, I'd like the reminder to automatically include Jim's contact information as well.
I'd like to be able to retrieve a contact's information dynamically based on that person's name in the reminder.
Here's what I mean:
Let's say in the past, I've created a Contact with the name of Jim Jones who has a phone number of 215-555-1212, an email address of jjones@example.com, and has a Notes value of "wife's name is Alexia"
I cc Sandy with the following comment in the body:
Sandy, remind me to call Jim Jones about Procurement renegotiation on Thursday at 3:00pm.
The reminder is set up as an appointment for 3:00pm on Thursday, and the text for the reminder is "Call Jim Jones (phone:215-555-1212, email:jjones@example.com, Notes: Wife's - Alexia, 10 yr old daughter Ariel likes horses, 12yr old son Joe likes baseball) about Procurement renegotiation."
Basically, I want Sandy to do the lookup automatically for me when I mention a name, and if there is information, include it in the reminder so I don't have to do a lookup later.
Many phones even would allow "clicking" on the phone number to make a call or "clicking" on the email address to send an email or txt message to that email address. This would really make Sandy powerful for those of us that can never remember a person's phone number or email address or their wife's name, etc. ("Phone:", "Cell Phone:", and "Notes:" all are valid contact details - having them sent automatically would be very useful and time saving).
This would make Sandy a lot more useful for a business person too - imagine scheduling a meeting to discuss lowering the cost of goods regularly procured from one of your suppliers. You receive a reminder about the meeting, and in that reminder are details about Jim, that he has a wife named Alexia, a 10 year old girl named Ariel who likes horses, and a 12 year old boy named Joe who likes baseball. When you call up Jim, you are able to easily and naturally say at some point in the call, "oh, I was at a Phillies game this weekend and got a ballcap for Joe - let's get together next week for lunch so I can give it to you." and then ending the call with "Say hello to your lovely wife Alexia for me, and tell little Ariel that there's a pony show coming to town on Thursday - I heard about it on the radio this morning, and remembered that she likes horses." and then wrap up the call appearing to have remembered all the minutia of Jim's life (and actually being able to care because you actually did remember to get that ballcap because the meeting was coming up). This would make an enormous impression, and would make a good business case for a company paying to use Sandy for all of their management.
I know it's asking a lot, but if Sandy could also know the difference between "call Jim Jones" and "email Jim Jones", and only return the phone number (plus Notes) or the email (plus notes) that'd be nice (but I know that it wouldn't be as easy!).
