Why doesn't the edit item dialog go away when changing tags/date?
When I edit an item, the dialog box comes up. I change the tags, date, etc and hit save. The little spinny thing spins, but the box never goes away unless I hit "cancel" or refresh the page. However, if I click on an item, then hit delete, the dialog box properly goes away.

Mea culpa! It turns out that the fix I applied the other day had the effect of making things a little worse. We've a complete fix on the way — it should be live on Sandy's servers within the hour.

Good catch, both of you!
I managed to replicate the issue (it only affects editing a brand new item created using "New..." on Sandy's site rather than editing anything appearing elsewhere in any list on the site).
And, thanks to your catch, it's now fixed and will be working as expected as soon as we push the next update to Sandy's site.

Inappropriate?Thank you Rael. This has been annoying me for days. Although I thought that the problem had something to do with recurring events. I have generally been able to get my changes to save unless the item was tagged as recurring (@daily).
The oddest example is with new contacts (Name, phone number,etc). I am able to make changes to new contacts just fine using the website, but if I marked the contact as repeating (@daily), then I am not able to edit the item again. -
Inappropriate?Hmm, unfortunately it doesn't seem like the problem has gone away. I've created a new item via 'New...' option [http://iwantsandy.com/email/2834579] and I wanted to edit the reminder for it. After pressing Save the windows shows 'Saving..' forever. The worst thing is that when I click somewhere on the website, the window goes away but so does the change.

Inappropriate?Yeah, I noticed that the problem exists even after the update. norbiq, can you list some more details of the event you created? The link you gave isn't valid for me. I can't see what you tried. Was it a recurring event?

Does not work yet on 9:45 am CET.

Still does not work well. 3 out of 4 times Sandy's site does no longer respond
