You didn't mention what it is I should remind you about
When I have an existing reminder, and Sandy emails me, she always gives me a hint worded something like this:
To snooze this reminder until you get home, reply with: remind me this evening
If I reply with something like this: remind me in two hours
I get a non-helpful reply from Sandy where she just doesn't seem to know what I'm talking about!
11:49am A reminder
Email reminder at 11:49am
You didn't mention what it is I should remind you about. I'll still remind you when the time comes, but it might help you to add some more detail.

Inappropriate?Hi Rob,
Usually this is an issue with the mail application you're using not providing enough information for Sandy to determine to which message you're replying (just one of the ways she keeps track of what you're conversing about).
What mail application are you using?
We'll get it sorted, don't you worry!

Inappropriate?I'm using Outlook 2003, and the original message from Sandy is in my reply, so there should no loss of context. For instance, this is one of my replies:

Inappropriate? Thanks, Rob! I'll take a gander at this with Sandy and respond shortly.

Inappropriate?Hi Rob,
I should note, by the way, that Outlook 2003 is by far the worst culprit when it comes to mail applications confusing Sandy (and just about any other service relying upon certain norms when it comes to the way mail is handled, replied to, referenced, etc). In fact, Outlook 2003 actively obscures the history of an email thread by removing the In-Reply-To and References headers expected in email messages — a long-standing issue that's thankfully fixed by Outlook XP and 2007.
Now of course none of that is your problem of course, but I thought I'd provide a little more background in case you were interested.

Inappropriate?Hi again, Rob.
Can you please do me a favor and forward that reply (as is) from Sandy on to help@iwantsandy.com? I need to take a look at it in its entirety to see where she might be getting confused.

Inappropriate?Sure thing - look for a new email in a few moments...

Inappropriate?I agree with you on Outlook 2003 - I would rather run Outlook 2007 but my corporate email server is still stuck on an old version of Exchange Server...
