Hi, i just subscribed for email-to-sms and I got a confirmation-sms. However, i can not see the confirmation code, I suppose it was sent in the body, not the subject. Can you send it in de subject? Is there a workaround?
I like being able to schedule and forget future tasks without having them clutter up my current to-do list. Is there a way to set a view that only shows tasks available today and filters out tasks with a start date in the future?
I've been using sandy as a GTD project manager and labeling each task, note etc.. with the tag for that project. So when I open the window I click the project tag and all my stuff to do and info needed is there. This works great for me, but I just finished the project and wanted to archive the tag like the rest of the tasks and things, so if needed I can find all the tasks later on but don't have to forever look at the tag itself in my list. Just a silly thing really but with it still there it doesn't feel like I finished.
When I reply to an email reminder with a snooze command, the SMS message that arrives at the requested time, and the email that arrives, don't contain information on the actual reminder. For example, the email says, "You asked to be reminded about:" and then instead of the text of the reminder, there is just a period. I have to scroll down in the email to see what the original reminder was. The SMS message is essentially useless because there is nothing to scroll, so if I get one of these blank SMS messages, I have to go to my email to figure out what I'm being reminded about.
I love the snooze idea but can't use it effectively as it stands right now.
Sandy's sent ICS file to my gmail account does not import to google calendar
I know that Gcal has issues refreshing remote ics files, so i thought that sandy's reply to me with a attached ics file when i send her a reminder would AUTOMATICALLY add the event to my google calendar (like it does when i sent a test event to my self) but it doesn't?
Is this a google problem or Sandy's? Delayed refresh of Gcal remote ICS is one thing, but now THIS?
I've been waiting and watching Twitter status for the last few weeks hoping that something would magically change despite the fact that this problem was apparently three months old already.
I guess I'm happy that my wait is over. Sort of. Now a new wait! Sandy API? :) Someone to build a Sandybot for googletalk? Or maybe a standalone Sandybot that we can each install on our own if we want to?
I would like to use Sandy in my office. The problem is getting people to USE Sandy. I would like to know if there is a way to share tasks/appointments and send a friend reminders to their Sandy account. Can I send a Reminder to my co-workers Sandy account and tag it with @daily? Will it show up in their daily digest? This would be great to help manage group projects as well as individuals stay on task. Thanks for your help!
I emailed a reminder to a friend and Sandy; the reminder is put on my calendar, and my friend shows up on my "friends" list. However, neither I nor the reminder show up on my friends account, even though their sharing setting is set to "Accept with notification"
Hi
How does one with minimal electrons set multiple reminders for the same appointment? The answer is probably not as obvious as you're about to tell me it is.
Context: My default is to receive reminders one hour before the appointment, which is great.
However, often I need 3 reminders for the same appointment. I've examined the help docs.
Would it be "Sandy, remind me to puke Sunday 10/1 at 3 PM @reminder 9/24 at 1 PM @reminder 9/28 at 6 PM"? Or does it require a list? Or is it even possible?
Thank you community.
I'm losing my confidence in Sandy. Today I tried to set up a reminder via email. I got the confirmation email of the reminder being set up an hour after I was suposed to be reminded. I sent the email 8 hours before the reminder was supposed to happen.
Hmmm... I'm not getting email reminders after sending Sandy a message thru Twitter. They show up on the iwantsandy webpage and I get a direct message in Twitter as confirmation - but no email reminders.
SOLVED: Set daily digest to not deliver daily and saved, then went back in and set daily digest to deliver again. The next day I received the digest (and still good 2 days later)
I have not received a daily digest for several months. I emailed Sandy's helpers but (other than the automated message) I have not heard anything.
This is becoming quite frustrating.
I some how i created 2 accounts, so i delete one now i can not get in to the other one. I created bobr@rdrinc.com and bob1r@me.com, i would like to keep the bob1r@me.com.
