Is there a way to prevent RSS retrieval of a bookmarked URL's content from showing up in daily digest emails (ie: in bookmarks that are also tagged @todo)?
I saw someone asking about an AIM Bot for Sandy. It made me think about those bots and how you can ask them questions like finding movie times and numbers for theaters, etc. I also know google has a sms text address to ask for locations and numbers to restaurants, bars, etc. What if Sandy did something like this with text or email? I think it'd be great 411 type service.
I'd like to create a task list for example "install wordpress on a website" then add todo's to that list, for example "create template", "write custom code to do x", "test x works" etc etc. Is this possible?
I'm used to using basecamp and having tasks associated with milestones and was wondering if this kind of functionality or similar is possible with sandy?
When I email a link that contains upper and lower case characters, Sandy is forcing everything lowercase which changes the link destination in some cases. e.g. http://is.gd/jYA is different than http://is.gd/jya
Here was I wanting to pose to my kids that (1) Dad's alll high tech and (2) Dad can actually remember to do something!! And Sandy let me down :-(
Why? Because I sent in reminder for "tomorrow" and it got all nicely set up, but I had changed my "remind me" setting to 7 days before as I like plenty of warning for things. However, of course, this means my "tomorrow" reminder was "due" 6 days ago and so has disappeared into the ether :-(
Would it not be worth some "intelligence" being applied to reminders so that if its less than the default reminder time it either asks you to stipulate the reminder time or at least warns you that you won't be reminded.
Might be nice to have a few reminder 7 days, 3 days, 1 hour and 30 mins before so you get advanced warning to e.g. go buy present then further warnings to take it round ;-)
I keep getting warnings saying the site certificate has problems and I shouldn't go to your site! When I do ts showing as "Mixed content" (obviously I have iwantsandy as Trusted but you must be using some other URL's somewhere and confusing IE??)
Every time I click something it asks if I want to show the unsecure content as well - its getting frustrating :-(
The layput of the Home page is great but if you want it to show more than 1 day then you have to put up with calendar items on one screen then everything else on another. Could we not have calendar items in with everything else somewhere?
Either a drop down on the home page (which gets remembered) to set time or have in the existing dropdowns have "All including...xxx" where xxx is the other drop down list
Hi,
Really thought I had found a site that would do everything I wanted but find that when I ask her for e.g. my ToDo list via Twitter I just get my first item - how unhelpful is that :-(
Personally I would like each list item to come through as a different Twitter, that way I can easily reply and knock them off the list as I do them and still have a running list of those outstanding. I realise there's a 160 character limit but doubt anyone will have a list item of longer than that!!
I was trying to get my google calendar to Sandy automatically and was doing some tests emailing her the ics file. now each of the events on my calendar has about 7 duplicates in sandy...any easy way to delete the duplicates? or is there any way to delete all appointments in sandy so that i can just send in the ics file?
Is there a way to update someone else's calender with out updating you're own? My husband seem incapable of sending a text to Sandy to do something as simple as picking up milk, so I always have to send it for him. I email him, and cc sandy "Remind Moe to pick up Milk after work at 6:00p". Doing this means we both get the reminder, but I'm not the one that needs to pick up milk. I just want his calender to be updated, not mine. Any suggestions?
When I edit something, that I've already shared with a friend, does their calender and tags update as well? I shared a chore for my friend, but put the wrong date and forgot to tag with @weekly. I fixed it on my account, but will it update on his?
Can I turn off any contact that doesn't pertain to an actual reminder. The periodic random emails about nothing have a 'crying wolf' / junk-mail effect that diminishes my ability to take my important reminders seriously. Thx
I'm puzzled. After sending Sandy an item, I realized that I forgot to add the phone number. I thought this would be easy to do. I logged on to Sandy, found the item, and clicked on "edit." However, this brings up a brief dialogue box that provides the name and other fields. The part I need to edit was further down in the context. I clicked on "more context" and could see the area I wanted to edit, but could find no way to do so.
