I should be able to give sandy my ebay account and she can look look at the auctions that I'm watching and remind me when they're ending via email/sms.
My IWS account does not work. None of my emails - even ones generated via the website seem to get through. So I'm stuck: I can't use the service, the help request emails don't get through and it would appear that even the account cancellation process doesn't work because my account doesn't seem to have the right "connection" into the IWS service. I'm hoping that as this page says that 3 employees are listening in that someone can help me.
Is there a way to get the IWS Calendar from Outlook 2007 "pushed" or synced with iPhone via MobileMe?
All my other calendars in Outlook (Home, Work, Personal, etc.) show up and sync, but not the one from Sandy.
Sandy's text messages are showing up after the reminder time. It didn't used to be this way. If Sandy was going to remind me at 8:15 the text shows up at 8:32. It's not a problem with my mobile phone, I get texts immediately. The email reminder shows up at the same (late) time as the text. Help?
Can you create contacts with the "powertips" syntax? I just tried it and it didn't seem to work...

I wound up with 1 bookmark (good) and 2 notes (bad). When I broke it out into 3 separate Reminder lines (in 1 email), it correctly got 1 bookmark and 2 contacts.
I answer to a task reminder e-mail with "snooze until monday", and as the result, Sandy changes the task description to "Until" and then schedules it correctly to Monday.
I just took a quick look at "Posti.ca", which is kinda like sandy but only for notes. Have you given any thought to rearranging Sandy's "Notes" interface to something like this? I really like the Post-it visualization of nodes.
How about having Sandy display the contents of a list on her web interface? I frequently use lists to, er, make various lists, be it "call someone" or "upload the following" or "add the following to x" etc. So what I wanted to suggest is having a setting that tells Sandy to list out the full contents of a list in the web interface, similar to the bullets she uses on my daily email digest.
I just scheduled a bunch of events with sandy and noticed the following little quirk in time parsing:
* r Do something Monday 4:30-5pm
That works just fine.. But change it to
* r Do something Monday 4-4:30pm
And it schedules the event at 4:00, and adds "-4:30pm" to the event title and ignores it. Saying 4:00-4:30pm works just fine, so it's something with the start being only the hour for the end being hour & minutes.
I'd like to use Sandy for more personal/private reminders, but I'm a little concerned about the security/privacy of such things. Can someone tell me more about this? Also, I'm just curious: is there any plan in the works to make Sandy an actual application (residing on a client's machine only)? That'd be great for security purposes!
Sandy is great. If she could just do a couple more things that some personal assistants can do, she could be even better. Top of my list would be for Sandy to bring me a document at an appointed time, and "sit" with me to work on it. Simple version - Sandy (via some FF extension or Prism perhaps) launches any web URL (ie. any Google Doc or other online doc) in a reminder. More complex version: Sandy also launches local files. Gold medal: Sandy optionally locks everything else on my computer for the time we're working together (with a further optional "interrupt" task button").
Conversion Buttons: I'd like buttons for converting one entry (Appt/Todo/Contact/etc.) into another; for example, I may have a note that I'd like to convert to a todo without having to retype it.
The reminder is on the right date, but in the quotation marks, Sandy has removed important text and torn the poor number 13 in half. Definitely not what I expected!
I am trying to send pictures to my sisters mycricket addy and they won't send from my pc. What am I doing wrong?Also I can't get Fwds to go to her. I receive from her.
Sandy has been completely unreliable for me over the last month or so. The reminders sometime get to me sometimes don't. Some things get added that I email and some don't. If I say "tomorrow" in an email at like 9p my time it will schedule it 2 days later.
I love this service but the reliability is gone downhill fast. I'm considering switching to RTM instead.
Problem: I track lots of repeating events in Sandy. For example, I entered my Tuesday weights routine as "r upper-body and abs @fitness @weekly @todo". (I've tested this with and without the @todo tag, BTW; I just prefer to use @todo for everything that isn't a time-specific task.)
When I have finished the workout, I want to check it completed. However, I get a pop-up asking if I want to mark the entire series completed, and the only options are Yes or Cancel. Since this event repeats indefinitely, I certainly don't want to mark the whole series done! Past instances show up in my schedule and/or @todo list because Sandy thinks they're still active.
Idea: Please implement an additional option to select "this instance only" for actions (archive/edit/complete) on repeating events.
