Can't submit opportunity, says link is missing

i'm having this problem as well, even though i have linked to the code exactly as it is copy pasted from the requirements. my code ends up exactly as the screenshot you show of their blog post. i copy pasted the link straight from their info. no matter what i do, wordpress changes its format to that. i have even typed in the code manually to attempt to get around this error and my results are the same.

sorry me again! after posting this i did some digging and aparently its something to do with wordpress, the best way to change it is to download this plugin (i hope i can link this, please forgive me if this is against the rules) http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/w... this will stop wordpress from formatting your quotes. just read the instructions and it'll fix your post and make it go though. it took mine just fine after installation.

Interesting that I should come across this as it's my opp. If there is anything I ca do to help this along please don't hesitate to ask.

Carrie, this is something surly that should be taken up with your technical team immediately. If there are two bloggers here having this problem then there may be many more. The last thing I want is for bloggers to be spending time working out technical issues concerning PPP.

Please get back to me on this asap.

Well, I can't find the extra code in there anywhere so I can't see how to take it out. Oh, well! Free advertising for somebody as I'm not going to take down a post that I've already sent through facebook and twitter.

I guess I will no longer be taking post that require links. : (

if you check out my reply above jessica you'll see a plugin for wordpress to stop that coding. as long as you have your blog set up on your own server its useable.

Okay, I just did my opp and I am having a similar problem. I put in a help ticket under a new title because my problem is a bit different.

Did anyone else notice that there are two spellings for Sherrilyn (Sherilyn) and one of the links were are to name Born of Fire but it goes to the Born of Night page? I am very frustrated.

nimil -- I have the current WordPress install. The link you gave us goes to a widget that is over two years old and will not work on the current WP. I have no idea how you got it to function on yours.

oh i'm sorry i read it wrong!.. i'm not sure but it works on mine.. and i am on the newest install of wp as well. i just installed and activated and it worked just fine.

Hi...I have the same problem.. I can't submit the opportunity as well. It give me an error "link was not included" but I made sure that I had the exact link. I copy and pasted it but still it did not work....

eep i'm new to ppp so please pardon me asking, what happens to those who's posts were already accepted? should i redo the op? or will it be fine since its already submitted and accepted.

I had a message saying that the advertiser has cancelled the review and removed it from the marketplace.


I know it's obvious but i did want to check it wasnt anything to do with me personally not doing the opp earlier than the 3 days, as i know i had about 10 hours left to do im sure.


Or have the advertiser cancelled everyones anyway?


The advertiser was 'Book Trailer (Sherylin Kenyon) and it was for my blog Mummy Diaries (http://www.mummydiariesblog.com)


Also to ask if i had completed this a couple of days ago, could the advertiser still have cancelled or would they have had to pay out anyway?

Matthew -- Sherrilyn's name is spelled two different ways in the opp. Also, the link for the trailer says 'Born of Fire' but the code says 'Born of Night'. I would get screen shots for you, but I can't log into IZEA this morning and I'm being told I don't have an account -- it seems to be an issue with the Chrome browser -- maybe I can fix it and get back to you.

Matthew -- oops! You pulled the opp I can't take screen shots! I am in Hawaii, by the time I get to the computer your day is half over.

UPDATE FROM ADVERTISER:

The very helpful peeps at PPP, Carri & Luis have suggested that I pull the opp and resubmit which should solve our problems.

For those of you who who have created the opp already and not been able to submit it, please do as Carrie suggests -
"So, if you have been having trouble submitting, you should see a new offer come through in the next several hours for this opportunity. All you will need to do is to replace your current link with the updated link and you should have no further trouble submitting."

Specifically to Quilly, Tina and Jessica, I have found your blogs on PPP and made offers. So you should be ok very soon if you follow Carri's advise.

Sorry for the late reply, Thanks so much Matthew and PPP for the redo on the opp. I've just resubmited and all is fine now.

I'll definently be digging around in Squarespace later to figure out how to get around that problem in the future.
