Inappropriate?JackRabbit refers to it as "price indexing" - we think "scraping" sounds a little harsh! In essence, indexing does the same thing that a person would do if they were collecting information from a website: an automated robot goes to the hotel website, submits a search form and grabs the low rate for each day of the year. That way we can show the right pricing when users search for availability on the DMO website. It's the same technology that Google uses in order to get websites to show up properly in their search results...
