Alternate date format for non-US users
What do you think about allowing non-US users (in their account settings) to specify a different date format for display/entry of records? In most of the rest of the world we use dd-mm-yyyy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_for...

How would you like dates to display? Also, does the date entry box for flights allow you to enter dates the way you like? -
Inappropriate?"28 August, 2008" instead of "August 28, 2008", 28/8/2008 instead of 8/28/2008.
Ooh, did you change the date entry box? The drop-down calendar works well. Also the year-month-day format you have seems more intuitive (to geeks and non-Americans, anyway).

Oh, no, I haven't changed anything yet. I mean the actual display next to your flights. Do you want it to look like dd-mm-yyyy? -
Inappropriate?Any of the following would be OK - in order of preference:
dd/mm/yyyy
dd-mm-yyyy
yyyy-mm-dd -
Inappropriate?Okay, you can set your date display preference on your user settings page now. Give it a try.
I’m happy

If you'd like any other formats listed, just say so. -
Very cool! Thanks.
