Load or link photos of aircraft
It would be great to upload images of particular aircraft or link to other places that may already have a photo online (like airliners.net if it's a big jet :)

You can do this in the comments section of each page. Links and embedded images are allowed. Follow the Textile link above the comments to see how it's done. Of course, you can only embed images if they belong to you.
Also note that Flickr photos are directly integrated if they come from your Flickr account and are tagged accordingly.

Inappropriate?Hmmm - I must be doing something wrong - see http://jetrecord.com/aircraft/VH-IBL
By the way, is there a "Delete comment" or "Edit Comment" feature somewhere? :) :)
I’m laughing at myself
-
I'll add the ability to edit/delete comments. It will probably be under a 15 minute timer, the way Get Satisfaction does it. Would you like me to delete the comments that are there now?
Note that straight HTML is not allowed. You have to use Textile markup: http://textile.thresholdstate.com/ There is also a link to Textile above the comment box on Jetrecord pages that allow comments. -
I tried creating an embedded image using the address of your photo and it didn't work.
However, I was able to create one for the Jetrecord logo and also from images on two completely unrelated web sites. Are you sure that the image address you provided is valid for embedding in a web page? -
Yeah, I'm thinking there's something wrong with that URL - will give it another whirl soon :)
As to the old stuff up comments, yes please, it would be great if you could delete them :) -
Inappropriate?How about Facebook also?
-
I'm not sure what you mean. -
Inappropriate? You have direct import from Flickr, right? Well, I don't use Flickr, but use Facebook extensively. Tagged photographs are one of the features of that site, and wondered if direct import of tagged photographs from my Facebook account might be on your wish list.
Cheers. -
I'll have to look into it. Right now there are no plans as Facebook makes it pretty difficult to do anything with their data. With Flickr it's just a matter of calling a URL with a tag. But I will look into the effort involved.
