have a small gorillapod, only directions were on the cardboard box,no mention of aligning the hard to see arrow with the unlock to remove the clip, and the clip did NOT release when I finally found on your website how to do the alignment with a pliers.
Now the "rubber ring" has come off the Gorillapod and I had to pull the clip out with a pliers too--this is NOT a quick release item and now it is damaged since I cannot get the rubber ring to stay on.
You need to be more careful with your directions, make the arrow obvious and please tell me how to repair this damaged GorillaPod.
thank you

I was just taking a picture on my table with my gorillapod and the piece above where the three legs connect snapped. It looks like there was a crack in the connector piece... it just up and broke. It wasn't attached to anything or at an awkward angle. I'm not sure what caused it to snap. I've only had it a few months, can I get a replacement. I loved my gorillapod. =(
I have a gorillapod SLR which has a loose '3rd vertebrae' on one leg and as such is now not very useable. I've noticed someone else has reported this problem, is it a known issue?
I bought my Gorilapod a few months ago and found one joint has become excessively loose to the point the pod can no longer support my camera. Can you help me?
The second joint from the top of my Gorillapod popped out, and now that joint is loose and slips with my camera attached. I think something was inside the joint (a frictiony ball?) and is now missing.
I love my Gorillapod, and it's less than one month old. I'm bummed that it wasn't more durable. This never happened to my last Gorillapod (which I gave to my brother while traveling). Can I get a replacement for this joint?
I have a Gorillapod that the third vertebrae is now loose. I can no longer use it since it just falls over when I try to mount my camera to it.
The gorillapod is just over a year old and I expected it to last a bit longer than this. I'm very sad since this is a very handy product which I enjoy using and I can't return it to the store which I purchased it at. Please help.
I bought one gorillapod recently, but one of the legs got a crack in that part, wich holds the "ball", so i returned to the shop i bought it and got a new one. I unpacked the new one and a crack was already there at on of the three mounts right at the top, where the legs come out. I now dont dare to go to the shop again to change my pod.
I was camping in Yosemite and took out my gorillapod and it lost it's leg. It doesn't look like any plastic broke. I can stick the leg back in but it doesn't stay. So it's broken and i'm sad. I was pretty frustrated when I found out the leg came out because I couldn't use the tri-pod for my entire trip.
It may have been the cold weather that made the glue no longer stick because there was no impact or rough use. I just took it out, adjusted the legs and out popped the leg.
