3rd vertabrae issue
I have a gorillapod SLR which has a loose '3rd vertebrae' on one leg and as such is now not very useable. I've noticed someone else has reported this problem, is it a known issue?

Inappropriate?I'm so sorry this happened to your Gorillapod. This can happen sometimes if you are using a camera that is too heavy for the Gorillapod.
Do you mind sending me a photo of the damaged Gorillapod w/ the Joby logo showing to info@joby.com? What type of camera were you using with it?
I'd like to send you a replacement so please send me your shipping address and let me know where you purchased it.
Thank you! -
I have only used my Gorillepod twice. The third time I used it the fourth vertibrae was very loose. So loose it makes the pod un-usable. Should I glue the fourth vertibrae so I can at least use it in some form? I have a Canon SD 800 which fits the weight requirements... -
Inappropriate?Peter (great name, btw!),
While you can certainly do as you please, we don't recommend gluing your Gorillapod. If your Gorillapod is acting up and not performing as you expect, we'd be happy to replace it.
If you send us an email to info@joby.com with a photo of your affected Gorillapod (make sure the "Joby" logo is showing), we'll send you a replacement. Be sure to include your full name and mailing address, as well as some info on when and where you purchased it.
Thanks,
-Peter
