Better or Worse but sure less expensive called RoHs Gorillapod?
What is this new "RoHs Gorillapod" (nothing to do with the RoHS compliance) that looks like the Joby Gorillapod? Is it made by Joby? In addition some SELCO company also makes one?

Inappropriate?We have no affiliation with the person or persons selling the "RoHs" Gorillapod, and we cannot verify if that is an authentic Gorillapod. There are many knockoffs on Ebay, so while we can't say anything definitive for this "RoHs Gorillapod" that you speak of, I would encourage you to be careful when buying from unknown sources. It is extremely likely that the product you're talking about is a knockoff.
As for "SELCO", I'm unfamiliar with their offering(s), but they are not affiliated with Joby. We are the original inventors of the Gorillapod flexible tripod, and we have a strong commitment to our products. We also are constantly innovating on our product lineup, and we're always looking to improve both our product offerings and our customers' experience.

Inappropriate?Great information, Peter! I know from my own experience that the Gorillapod is definitely high quality. I would be leery of buying a knock-off.
