Gorillapod Focus broken leg, is this a common issue?

Wrote info@joby.com and 100percent@joby.com >24 hours ago. Awaiting a response so I can make a decision to replace or return my 3 day old Gorillapod Focus with a broken leg. Also trying this venue to receive a response.
