Loose joint, camera sinks
The second joint from the top of my Gorillapod popped out, and now that joint is loose and slips with my camera attached. I think something was inside the joint (a frictiony ball?) and is now missing.
I love my Gorillapod, and it's less than one month old. I'm bummed that it wasn't more durable. This never happened to my last Gorillapod (which I gave to my brother while traveling). Can I get a replacement for this joint?

Hello all,
My sincere apologies for the difficulties you guys have been experiencing. While it is a fairly rare occurrence overall, the loosening of joints does occasionally happen on a tiny fraction of products.
We absolutely stand by our product, however, and we will be happy to replace any defective or loosened Gorillapods. Any/all of you who have been experiencing trouble with your Gorillapod, please send us an email to info@joby.com with the following:
1) a photo of the affected Gorillapod, with the JOBY logo showing
2) details on where and when you bought the Gorillapod
3) Your full name, mailing address, and phone number.
As soon as we get your email we will be sure to send out a replacement to you right away.
Again, my apologies for the problems. If you have any questions or need further assistance, you can also email me directly at peter [at] joby.com
I’m hoping to make things right again.

Inappropriate?Hi:
I purchased a small gorillapod late last year. It is a brilliant product! Unfortunately some of the joints have become loose and it just won't hold the camera up anymore. What should I do?
By the way the cameras I have been using have been the Casio EX-Z750 and the Ricoh GR II digital.

Inappropriate?I had this problem too, but was able to return it to the store for a new one.

Inappropriate?How frequently this happens?
There is no solution?
I am from Portugal and return this product could be difficult. I just made a step back on buying two gorillapods
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?I am also having this same problem, I love the gorilla pod lets me do so much more a normal tri-pod could not. That said I am extremely disappointed with the build quality, I am on my 2nd Gorilla now the first one I returned to the store two weeks later for an exchange. another 32 days go by and again the joints are loose the camera starting to sink and just to late to do another return to PoS :(. I have been using it for a few more weeks as I didn't want to RMA it and have to do with out it as it still worked just with more fuss trying to get it stable, now it is very loose and almost useless.
Debating whether its even worth spending the money to RMA if its not going to last a month.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I am beginning to think that perhaps I should put some sticky substance in the loose joints in order to fix this problem. Perhaps some sort of soft wax?
-
Inappropriate?Let us know if it helps! we need some sort of solution as this is frustrating.

Inappropriate? The wax helped a little bit. I'm thinking perhaps I should try a little "fun-tak" adhesive in the joints?
