will this work with the stand-alone iSight webcam?
I just purchased a stand-alone iSight webcam and am looking for a gooseneck style mount/tripod for it and Gorillapod fits the bill. Will it work with iSight? I hope so!

Inappropriate?Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your interest in our Gorillapods and Gorillamobiles. As I recall, the iSight camera does not have a tripod screw adapter, but you can still use it with our products.
The best product for you is either the Gorillamobile or the Gorillamobile 3G. They both come with removable adhesive clips that you can use with the iSight.
The only difference between the two models is that the Gorillamobile 3G comes with an iPhone case for 3G or 3GS iPhones, whereas the original model comes with a suction cup. Both come with a camera adapter.
I hope this answers your question. If not, let us know and we'll be happy to help further.
Thanks!

Peter, how would the suction cup or adhesive pad attach to the iSight? At the back? Are they strong enough to hold it from that angle? If so, I'd love to give it a try - my iSight's included mounts from years ago won't fit my current monitor configuration at all. The Gorillamobile seems like the perfect fit. Thanks! -
If you have the original stands that come with the iSight, you should be able to attach one of them to the adhesive clips of the Gorillamobile. If I recall, there are three stands that come with the iSight - a magnetic one, a flat stand with adhesive, and one designed for the top of laptop screens. Attaching any of these to the adhesive clip of the Gorillamobile should work. Of course, you could also attach the adhesive clip directly to the back of the iSight. The clips should be strong enough to hold the iSight. -
Thanks!!
