I'd like to have some control over what appears in the sidebar...
The site I've been working on (kinghall.jottit.com) has a very large number of pages. Having all of them appear on the sidebar makes things look very busy. It would be good to have a checkbox to tick that controlled whether or not a particular page appeared there.

Inappropriate? That's an interesting idea. I'm curious though how you would navigate to those pages if they were not on the side bar?
I’m interesting in how this could work.
-
Inappropriate? They'd be included as links in the body text. The pages that were left in the sidebar would act as navigational anchors, allowing people to find their way to sub-pages.
An automatically-generated A-Z page, which *does* list all pages, could make a useful addition too...

Inappropriate?Maybe another solution would be to allow one level of subnavigation. Another idea would be to combine some of your pages and make a list of the contents across the top of each page that use anchors to scroll down. Is it possible to make anchors in Jottit?
I’m thinking...

Inappropriate?I'm not sure whether in-page anchors work or not. They'd be useful in some circumstances, yes. But some of the pages I'm working with are already huge, and there are still going to be an enormous number of them as time goes on. I'd like to keep the sidebar more manageable.
I’m also thinking

Inappropriate?I like this idea. I think an A-Z listing of pages would be essential. The sidebar could list any pages that you didn't explicitly remove and a "more..." link could show up as well, linking to a dynamically generated listing full listing.
