Kaiser's phone rep "Desiree" just lost 2 customers
My wife and I have a family plan with Kaiser, and I love many things about the company, but their automated phone system is faulty, and, much more importantly, the telephone operator I spoke to this morning, "Desiree" in the Orlando call center, was unhelpful and incredibly rude. I have the cell phone records to prove that it took 8 attempts to reach a live operator, who turned out to be Desiree. On each of my first 7 tries, after punching the number to speak with someone, my call went dead. This happened to both my sister and me, on two different phones. To make matters worse, when I attempted to report this issue to Desiree, she maintained over and over that I simply had not pushed the right button. She did not even pretend to believe me or care that I was reporting a problem, and when I asked to speak with a supervisor, she hung up on me. Ironically, I was calling because my wife and I want to sign both my sister and our nanny up for insurance. At this point, we're going with a different company.

Inappropriate?For my case, the phone rep for appoiment in santa clara was better, but I wish she repsonds more professionally. ( for exmaple "wha..t?" is not a proper response to patient/customer when you can't hear well)

Inappropriate?Do you mind telling me what you were calling Kaiser for? We have upgraded our automated system and it will be here to stay. It's just like any company you call. You have to listen to the prompts in order to get to your destination. I'm all against automated systems, but it's here. I've contact Kaiser automated system and just followed the prompts. I'm able to get to the location I want. Now as for Kaiser call center in Orlando we do not have. You may have received the sales department. Sorry you had to cancel your membership on account of a rude rep. That is unacceptable behavior and I wish that we could have done more to keep you.
