Maximum Characters in a Field When Importing...

What are the maximum characters that the Notes field can accept? For that matter, how about the Entry Type and Entry Subtype fields? I am combining data from a previously used car management program (TealAuto, who is loosing out by not converting the application for the iPhone) and would like to avoid any export/import surprises. Other than the import information page on your web site, any other tips that you might like to mention?

Sorry for the slow response. There should be no upper limit on import - how long of a field are you trying to import?
