Where is the virtual music production/sound design on Ki-work?

I know musical acts that actually NEVER met offline IRL, just produced everything and reached fame without even meeting in First Life! Could we talk about something more extra-ordinary ki work than that?

Inappropriate?This is an interesting idea....we would need someone to lead the category. IF someone is hungry to make the run. not only will I encourage it, but my virtual guitar skills are 100% available.

Inappropriate?I have a quite vast network in the landscape of electronic dance music, and I will keep it in mind. One profile signifying the skills needed (but he will not be available to take the ball, he is already too buzy with Nokia as Art Director these days...) is Tapio Hakanen a k a DJ Orkidea - just to see what type of jobs and activities a sound designer / music producer does these days...

Inappropriate?Ah! It was in the graphics / multimedia meta-category.
But isn't that a little too generic just to have one category for audio and sound production? Just a thought. See my first posting, where there is a multitude of uses for audio and sound production.
Music production on demand or recording a sound designed to be IDed with your brand? Difference, there...

Inappropriate?True Anders - it is quite generic. Your suggestion to sub-divide is noted - and if it gains support from other people within the category then we'll create new ones.
There is a danger tho that if we sub-divide too much, then the meta-category gets overwhelming. Plus they become less valuable for experts and leaders.
Over time we'll evolve a system where category creation / division will become more of a self-organising, bottom-up process. Any thoughts / ideas on how to fine tune this policy more than welcome!

Inappropriate?Yes, I know the downside of fragmentization as well - especially for the leader/expert value. I think categorization gets easier with the hive mind coming in. Every expert brings in knowledge in their domain when they enter, as well!
