Unable To Upload a Photo

I attempted to upload an avatar image via my "edit" page - selected a picture, hit Save, received the "You profile has been successfully updated." (missing an R there, incidentally) - but saw no update of my selected photo on my public page.

I’m frustrated, but understanding that you're new with bugs to work out.
