We uncovered one possible way in which this failure might be occuring--it has to do with the Flash Storage Settings. Please refer to the image here for instructions on how to confirm that these settings are or are not the culprit. Thanks. Inappropriate?Hi Soljahd,
Please make sure your flash player is up to date.
Download the newest Flash Player here: www.adobe.com
If you are running the latest Flash Player, please try this:
- If you are using Fire Fox click on TOOLS>CLEAR PRIVATE DATA> then only select Cache, then click Clear Private Data Now.
- If you are using Internet Explorer click on TOOLS>DELETE BROWSING HISTOR> and delete cookies and temporary internet files.
- If you are using Safari click on SAFARI "the Menu Selection" > Clear Cache
-
Inappropriate? Then it must be another issue. Most of the times clearing the caches solves the problem.
Could you please let me know your kyte user-name? -
Well I'm having the same problem and my kyte username is lovesgreatmusic. I'd like it 2 work properly coz there are things I wanna watch on here! -

Inappropriate?Hello Len,
After looking into the issue it seems that both sites are working fine across fire fox and IE. Please clear your cache and try it again. Also please visit www.kyte.tv and see if you can see any of those Kyte channels. -
Inappropriate?i can't get nktv to work

Inappropriate?i can't get nktv to work

Inappropriate?Hi Michelle, Andy Markham here, I'm a Senior Quality Engineer here at Kyte, and I was wondering if you might be willing to help us determine why and where this is failing for you. Please drop me a line at:
andy.markham@kyte.com
and we'll try get to the bottom of this issue. Thanks. -
Inappropriate?I'm with Michelle -- cleared cache, dl the latest versions, ie/firefox -- i'm still a no go. can't see anything on kyte.tv either.
hope to get a fix soon!
thanks. -
Inappropriate?Same here! can't see anything on kyte.tv. I already installed everything and cleared everything!
I’m so frustrated!

Inappropriate?I have exactly the same problems and none of the remedies mentioned above work.
On one laptop(Compaq nx9105), Windows XP latest patches, FireFox 2.0.0.17 it will load your examples on Kyte.com but the player won't play through the content, have to drag the playhead bar to advance through it.
On the other laptop MacBook (Intel Mac OS X 10.5), i have tried on Safari 3.1.2 (5525.20.1) and on FireFox 3.0.3 and none of your player content on kyte.com will load at all ... stays 0% forever.
Caches, cleared, latest Flash versions... nothing works, just as the others say... surely you guys can get this identified and fixed?
I’m amazed its still not fixed after all this time of first report.

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, we haven't had any success in sorting out this bug with the methods thus far attempted. Because we have not been able to replicate this issue within the company, we really need to have a test scenario where someone who sees this problem consistently has the debug version of the Flash player on their system. This will enable us to trap the error at its point of origin (we hope!).
If anyone who has reported this issue is willing to install the debug player to help us with this, see below...
the links for the various debug flash players are:
Windows/Internet Explorer:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
Windows/Firefox:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
Mac/Intel:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
Mac/PPC:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
If you have the very latest version of Flash (10.0.12.36) you will have to uninstall:
PC:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
Mac:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/fl...
When and if you do install the debug player, and attempt to reproduce the issue at hand, you should (again, we hope!) see an error alert thrown by the debugger. You will need to copy and paste the text contained within these alert windows and post them in your reply to this message.
We appreciate everyone's feedback, and really hope that we can get this resolved to everyone's, um, satisfaction. :-) -
Update... i re-installed Flash 10 again on the Windows XP box and that seems to have fixed the problem on the Compaq laptop (must have been a build issue) but the Mac Book still maintains the problem (i also re-installed the latest build to be sure). Don't have any more free cycles at the moment to debug flash, hope someone else can help. If i get some more cycles i will try to debug. Thanks for the response. -

Changing the "Global Storage Settings" fixed the problem for me. Answerwar hard to find because I was looking for "ConnMode: 0"-related Problems. -
Inappropriate?Works for me now too on MAC OSX... problem was "3rd party checkbox" missing on Flash 10 for MAC settings... now it's set works a dream:)
I’m happy
