Default video player resolution in Kyte TV?
What is the default video player exact resolution for FLV videos?
I want to bypass the transcoder using my own FLV-encoder and get the best possible result.
In general - Is there a document available of the recommended specs and restrictions for defalut player FLV resolution, recommended bitrate, codecs? I have only the restriction of 100MB filesize

This is a great question. For a standard account you are limited to the sizing and bitrate of your video. The default resolution for our standard player is 425x320 @ max bitrate of 700 kbps. and yes 100mb is the max file size.
If you wanted the BEST possibile quality (no loss) you should give upload an FLV at 425x320 px @ a bitrate of 700kbps. We will should just pass through the FLV if it is uploaded at these specs. It is possible to upload an FLV @ 700kbps at a higher resolution and we will pass it through; however, for the BEST POSSIBLE quality use the recommended resolution.

Thank you very much.
I am actually trying to optimize a long video of 35-40mins, relatively static material. To fit the 100MB my bitrate would be around 300-350kbps.
Does Kyte TV have restrictions for video length, (if the bitrate and filesize restrictions are ok)?

There is no restriction for video-length as long as you keep the video below 100 mb.
