Feature request: ignore a user's chat
In lieu of active chat moderation it would be nice if there were user-controllable chat features such as ignoring specific users' chat.
This would be extremely helpful in cases where the channel owner is often not around but the channel is high enough profile to get many concurrent users and enough griefers to ruin the user experience.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the suggestion liz, we've actually added community blocking support via the "Report Abuse" feature. If enough users report a griefer, that users chats will be ignored.
You can access this feature by using the little downward triange button at the far right of the chat message. -
Inappropriate?i did notice that, very nice! is this automated or does a human have to look at this? is there a notification in the room when a user has been ignored?

Inappropriate?Thanks liz!
To answer your questions, the abuse handling is an automated feature, and the room does not get an explicit notification (other than the fact that the griefer's posts will abruptly stop).
