I'm really sad about the closing of a kyte chat room
The kyte channel and chat room on abs-cbnnews.com was closed by it's channel owner. He/she said that the chatters are being rude and using lewd languages. As a user of kyte and it's chat room, i can say that some people are disrespectful however, other chatters are ignoring them. Many people there are engaging in friendly conversations and just ignoring those jerks. While there are other chat rooms, the one in the said website is also used by Filipinos around the world. It's like their place of "hang-out" bec. some cannot go to other websites to chat.
I think the channel owner is being unfair bec. he deprived those people who knows the chat room etiquetttes a place where they can find friends and just interact with other people. They shouldn't be kicked out of the chat room or banned from entering along with those who are at fault.
To the channel owner of abs-cbnnews.com kyte chat room,
please, please open it again. On behalf of my fellow chatters in that website, we're really sorry and we will try to not be rude to others again. Please give us a second chance.

Inappropriate?Good day! I am Gemma Bagayaua, deputy editor for Research and Systems at abs-cbnNEWS.com.
Thank you for being part of our chat sessions on Kyte.
FYI, we are not totally removing the chat facility on abs-cbnNEWS.com. We merely decided to use a different service -- one that gives us more control over what appears on our frontdoor. This is due to numerous complaints we received from our readers over the behavior of a number of irresponsible chatters on the chat room.
In the future, chat sessions will focus on particular topics and news personalities. We will also exercise more actively our option not to publish chat posts that use vulgar or offensive language. We did this already during the coverage of the funeral of President Corazon Aquino.
We still retain our editorial policy to publish all posts, whether positive or negative, provided that they are relevant to the topic at hand and do not violate our chat rules.
If you have any further suggestions on this matter, please email us through feedback@abs-cbnNEWS.com.
I’m thankful
