Totally excellent. I've been managing all my toread's with that tag on del.icio.us for years. So when I saw the import page I knew this was my perfect savior. Totally solid app. I'm very happy that you'll pull in my del.icio.us feed and I no longer need to worry about the Instapaper's annoying duplicate bookmarklet action.
Thanks so much.
Though that makes me wonder.. will laterloop need me to use the extension or can it continue to update via my del.icio.us toread feed? (I'd prefer the latter)
First, let me say that I love LaterLoop. I use the plugin a lot. However, there's one thing that would make it 10x better for me in an instant. My use pattern is that I read a lot of things on the train (I commute 1 1/2 hours each way), when I don't have internet access. So I open a bunch of pages ahead of leaving, and then read them through the ride.
What I would love is a way to store the links that I'd like to follow but can't at the time due to lack of internet access. I envision this as a hotkey followed by a click on the link, which would use some sort of local storage to note the site, and then sync up at a later point when I have net access.
Is this feasible? Easy or difficult to implement? If you think its doable but won't have time for a while I'd love to know that too; I don't have any experience with firefox plugins but I am a programmer so I might take a look.
Seems like a lot of my links are missing. I have been saving links for a while using the FF extension, and went today to visit, and I only have about 20 links there. Anyone else noticing this?
Since my LaterLoop account is linked with my Google account, I have to sign into LaterLoop again and again; this defeats the purpose of LaterLoop, instant, one-click bookmarking service.
Not signing out of my Google account (used mostly for GMail) is not a proper solution.
Either the developers should find some way to keep the users logged in or allow me to sign up using my Google address.
Laterloop would become a killer app for me if I could directly "send to laterloop" Google Reader iteams for later use. I have several GreaseMonkeys scripts similar to this one for twitter, delicious, etc...
Another way to do it could be that Laterloop automatically sync my with my shared starred items
LaterLoop often prompts me to sign in, where-as I would like to sign-in and stay signed-in automatically. Does the fact that I signed in initially using my Google ID prevent this? If so, can I switch to a non-Google ID?
I signed up laterloop with my google account. Now everyday I want to bookmark, I need to sign-in first (which tends to get annoying). I've seen that there are posts about this, but no solution yet. Is there a way I can create a laterloop account (instead of using google account) and have all my bookmarks transferred???
I'm shifting from Instapaper to LaterLoop - primarily because of your offline archiving tool. One thing that I think would be cool would to be able to add links to my LaterLoop links by emailing them to an address - like username@laterloop.com or something. Sometimes I may be on a computer where I don't have LL installed, but I'd still like to send something to my LL list. Esp. since I can email links quickly from Google Reader, it would be cool to be able to email directly to LL. (Maybe you can already do this and I'm just not seeing it?)
