I want to learn Japanese but the Words are not shown/displayed properly (there are only squares with numbers in it)

Thanks for adding an image - it's really helpful.
You need to have Japanese on your computer in order for the script to appear on the widget.
If you look at your region and language settings (start/control panel) you can add Japanese there.
Let me know how you get on.
