Can I use the Vault drive with a Mac?
I'm thinking of buying the Vault hard drive. I used to have an Apricorn drive that looks exactly like the Vault except my Apricorn drive had a Firewire cable. The Vault looks like it's a USB connection. Anyway, I looked around online and some places say the Vault is Windows only. Is that true? My old Apricorn worked fine on the Mac. Can't I just reformat it for Mac?

Inappropriate?Yes you can! The only thing is, to set up the passwords, you must upload the software on a PC. Then once you set the passwords you can plug that Vault into a PC or a Mac; it doesn't matter. You won't need the software after the set up since the Vault is hardware encrypted and doesn't require software on the host system to access your data.
