What will happen to replace System Update? This value of this service is immeasurable.

Not trying to be dramatic or anything, but this seriously affects my decision going forward to purchase Lenovo products. The TVSU was one of the high selling points of your computers. The ease of management it provided was unmatched on the Windows platform.

I feel like I've been ripped off by Lenovo. People there need to put themselves in the position of their users and realize what they are expecting people to do now that this service is not functioning. If I ever perform a system restore, I will have to spend an exorbitant amount of time on the Lenovo website picking and choosing what I need to have upgraded in order to have all of the excellent support software that Lenovo provides.

Plus, now I wonder what else will go away and fall by the wayside. Was it really so hard to keep this system up and running? I am a SAVVY programmer and even I am intimated by what I will have to do in the future to get bugfixes for the system software packages I have installed.

The RSS feed solution is wholly inadequate as a solution. How am I going to update a system from scratch? How am I going to know if I sit down at another Lenovo computer which versions are installed and which need to be upgraded?

Please provide some kind of statement to your customers about this! This silence is maddening. Thank you.
