In Australia, if you are registered for GST, you both collect and pay GST and the balance between these two is either payable or accrued (usually payable, unless expenses outweighed income) to the Tax Office. How can LA provide basic reconciliation to determine amount owed and keep the accounts in balance?

it does get confusing when proposals don't get converted to invoices.
and you will end up with non sequential invoice numbers, 1,3,4,5,6

When I import a QFX/QIF file from my Wells Fargo checking account the Title field gets truncated prematurely leaving me with a transaction title that is difficult for me to read. For example, the title for an imported transaction is CHECK CRD PURCHASE 08/15 APL*ITU, I don't need to read "CHECK CRD PURCHASE 08/15". I'd much rather see the full company name which should read as APL*ITUNES. This is just one example. This happens for every check card (and other) transaction that I import into lessaccounnting. I hope this is something you can fix. I'm more than happy to send you my QFX file if that helps.

In india, for Some Products, we needed to apply Multiple Taxes. like product cost is Rs.100.00, Now 12.36% will apply on Rs.100. So the Value becomes Rs.112.36. Then again VAT 4% will apply on the Value (Rs.112.36), that comes to Rs. 4.50, so the total amount Comes to Rs. 116.85.

Let me know how can i achieve the same. at the same time. is it possible to clearly specify, the tax is Service Tax or Value Added Tax, or Central Tax on the invoice.

please let me know. presently, i'm using zoho invoice. looking to shift to less accounting if i get this feature.

Is there any sense of keeping a log of time for a client? I have a service business and this is probably the one basic piece of tracking I need.

Being able to integrate my e-commerce stores' orders to lessacounting through an API would be MAJOR selling point.

This would allow people to give transactions more meaningful and accurate titles.

Mint.com does a wonderful job with this and I believe a lot of other financial programs have this feature.

What is the best way to categorize cash that you take out of the business for personal expenses? Is this simply "uncategorized"?

I'm not sure if it's correct to call them "wages" because my LLC is a partnership and we have no employees. So we don't take wages, per se.
