When setting up a repeating invoice for the first time the due date seems to be jumping forward a month on the first invoice.
When setting up a repeating invoice for the first time the due date seems to be jumping forward a month on the first invoice.
I'm creating a new invoice.
Because I want it to be a repeating invoice I'm also filling out the bottom part and choosing a start date of the next month.
When I preview the invoice it shows a due date moved forward 30 days.
Should I be setting the start date as today?

Inappropriate? We've found most businesses are net 30, so we default the due date net 30. However this setting can be changed under Settings > Edit Business Settings.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Ah, yes, I changed that in the settings before I created my first invoice and I'm still having the issue I'm describing above.
It seems the due date is being generated from the repeating start date rather than from the settings for the first invoice.
Make sense? Or would a screencast be helpful?

Inappropriate? When I say it shows a due date moved forward 30 days, I don't mean from today's date. I mean 30 days from the due date I had set. I've got the due date set at 15 days in the settings.
For example. I create a new invoice dated 8/1 with a due date of 8/16, then I add that it will be repeating invoice starting on 9/1. When I click preview it loads the invoice but with an invoice date of 8/1 and a due date of 9/16.
What I want it to do is give me the first invoice as I had it set up (invoice date 8/1 and due date 8/16) then automatically recreate the invoice starting on 9/1 with the new due date 9/16).
I'm sure I'm completely missing something obvious in the instructions...
I’m feeling like I should know better
