I also have hopes that you can support the Palm Pre at a later date. Some of us have multiple devices (iPod Touch, Palm Pre, etc) Since the device's OS is based on web standards, it shouldn't be too hard to cook up a Bible client for the Pre ;-) and it would be a great way to reach a good sized userbase that doesn't have many options as of the moment...

Inappropriate?Yeah, I'm not to fond of the mobile site. When you change translation, it usually doesn't change (even though it shows it in the translation menu, the actually text doesn't change), it doesn't have full functionality, etc. I would love to see an app come to the Pre. A lot of men in my church use the app on Blackberry and I have to admit, I am coveting :)

I LOVE YouVersion and right now there's pretty much NOTHING for the Pre. Getting YouVersion on there would gather about 100% of WebOS users. With the Pixi out, now's the time! -

Inappropriate?Hopefully I'm not giving away anything I shouldn't, but it was relayed to me on Twitter (via a public reply) that YouVersion should be making an arrival in the App Catalog as soon as Palm approves it. Woo Hoo!!!

BTW, have you guys thought about releasing the app via the HomeBrew community? Or are you looking for any beta testers? ;) -
Maybe I'm wrong, but they seem like they only want to release through official app catalogs/stores/worlds/markets. I did send them info on some of Palm's other distribution channels and who knows maybe if things get drawn out, they may consider them.
I asked myself about being a beta tester, they didn't need any. :-(
This is probably one of the main apps I am waiting for on the Pre (this and SlingPlayer, but not holding my breath there) so obviously getting itchy for YouVersion. I have it on my iPhone (deactivated/play) and Storm (work) and love it, but the Pre is my primary personal device.
