Windows Mobile IE on m.youversion.com says it's being redirected to mobile site.
windows mobile gets the message that YouVersion appears to think I'm running Internet Explorer 6, and have been redirected to the mobile site. I actually went to the mobile site. The message takes up most of the screen, and never goes away.

Inappropriate? We do not support IE 6. Upgrade your browser and you should be fine.
We suggest Google Chrome or FireFox -
I don't think you understand. I'm using my phone. I can't install Chrome or Firefox on my phone. See, this is referring to the mobile version of YouVersion.
I'm also not using IE 6. I'm using the latest browser version available for my phone, which is IE Mobile, also known as Pocket IE.
There are phones out there other than the iPhone, and this is one of them. I'll gladly work with you to test this issue, but I would appreciate not being dismissed off-handedly. -
Inappropriate?JP - Sorry I completely misread your question. I will let the developers know about this problem.
YouVersion currently has an app for the iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry. We hope to offer apps for more devices in the future. -
Inappropriate? We redirect to mobile for IE6, and show a message. The message is supposed to go away but it sounds like it's sticking. I have filed this as a bug to look into.
Thank you,

Inappropriate? So if I start with a mobile browser, and specifically go to m.youversion.com, does it make sense to see a message saying that a desktop browser that I'm not using will also be redirected here? Here are the User Agent for the T-Mobile Dash and a few other Windows Mobile devices. If you're using that for the logic, maybe this will save your team some searching through your server logs. While they Say MSIE 6.0, they also say IEMobile.
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12) T-Mobile Dash
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) 320x240; VZW; Motorola-Q9c; Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint:MotoQ9c
These can be tested with the User Agent Switcher Extension for Firefox: http://chrispederick.com/work/user-ag...
If you're not using the User Agent to switch experiences, just check for a screen size of less than 640px, maybe?
My YouVersion login is JPLosier.
You can DM me on Twitter @jplosier or reply here if you need me to test anything. I have a screen capture if it would help. The top half is the YouVersion header with a search box. The bottom half is the yellow warning that I have been redirected, even though I haven't.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?JP Losier,
This should be fixed now, I just rolled out an update that will look for IEMobile in the user agent string, if so it will not show you that message.
Thank you,
Josh
I’m happy
