Can I install the Lijit wijit on my hosted wordpress.com blog?

Sadly, hosted WordPress.com sites are not very widget-friendly and therefore, do not support installation of the Lijit Search Wijit. We will continue our quest to become part of their directory of supported widgets, but until then, you're welcome to set up an account with Lijit and be searched through your Lijit Profile page.

You can add a link from your hosted WordPress.com blog to your Lijit Profile page by following these steps:

1. Log into your WordPress.com account
2. On the main navigation bar, click "Blogroll"
3. From the Blogroll tab's navigation bar, click "Add Link"
4. Enter a name for your link (perhaps something like "Lijit Search" or "Search Me!")
5. Enter the URL for your Profile page in the address field (it will look something like: http://www.lijit.com/users/[insert your username here])
6. Provide a description of your Lijit Search link (perhaps something like, "Lijit's search is great! Try it out!)"
7. Once you've finished filling out the fields, click the "Add Link>>" button and you're done! You should now have a link to your Lijit Profile page on your WordPress.com blog.
