BlogLink Application Questions....What Am I Missing?
I am confused by the BlogLink application. My first question is how does it get triggered? I ask because when I view my profile, I don't see any posts from me or from my network. The only way it seems that you "trigger" it is by clicking on "add an application" and then click on the "Update Settings" link. When I do that it reviews my contact list and it brings up all of the posts from my connections in a list form on a separate page. Is that what it is intended to do?
I thought it was intended to post links to blog posts people make in the "Network Updates" area?
Also, if I have my blog listed as one of my websites, but I don't use the standard moniker "My Blog", but instead I use the "Other" and write in my blog's name....will BlogLink see it? The instructions for the application really don't explain this very well, IMHO.
Thanks,

Inappropriate? After installing Blog Link, it will automatically place a box on your LinkedIn Profile showing your recent blog posts as well as a box on your LinkedIn home page which should aggregate recent posts from contacts within your network.
For your profile, it should not matter what you name your websites as it looks through the list of websites for any site which has a RSS or Atom feed.
When viewing the Blog Link box on your LinkedIn home page, you shouldn't need to do anything to trigger it to fetch recent posts from your network. Rather, depending on how many contacts you have, it will select some of your contacts, look for recent updates, and then aggregate them together. You should also be able to click the "View More" link which will take you directly to the Blog Link application to view updates from your network by themselves.
While we've done a lot of work to have Blog Link perform as intended, we've found situations -- especially when a LinkedIn user has a very large network -- that due to the information returned by the LinkedIn API and the work involved to aggregate content, the recent posts from your network view can be quite slow to load. We apologize for this, though Blog Link should still have no problem aggregating your recent blog posts on your LinkedIn Profile for others to see. -
Inappropriate?I would like to change which blog BlogLink pulls into my profile. I cannot for the life of me find anyplace to change the RSS. Do I have to delete the application and add in a new blog feed URL? Or does BlogLink look at the Websites I've listed and take the first as the default. Bad UX, bad!

Yep. Same problem as jackmason. -
The BlogLink app pulls directly from the websites section of your profile so if you update that with the correct blog, it should work. -
I just did what Derek suggested, but I am still getting the wrong blogs from my website being pulled through to my profile. Any other suggestions? -
