Inappropriate?I should have given my LI profile:
http://www.linkedin.com/in/vickibassd...
I’m still FREAKED OUT!

Inappropriate?LinkedIn was down for "maintenance" last night.
I haven't played around enough this morning to see what else they broke that used to work :-( -
Inappropriate?@Bob - you are correct that we were down for maintenance last night. The good news is it was hardware-related changed and not software so no functionality was affected.

Inappropriate?Thank you both for taking time to answer me. I have been on multiple times in the past during maintainance and got to watch the LI Wizard until it came back on live. This time it had the weird error message I displayed on my original question, which sent me into a panic mode.
I listened to a recent chat about someone claiming to have had their profile accidentally erased, and I thought it may have happened to me.
Another reminder to myself to back up my contacts again. I regularly keep my entire profile backed up just in case, including the profile, recommendations and groups. I depend greatly on my Social Networks, with LI as my main contact data base. Despite the growing pains LI is going thru, it is a pleasure to be onboard.
Thank you both again, for your time! I am impressed and grateful for the speedy answers to my cry for help!
Cheers!

Inappropriate? The wizard was there initially, but then he too vanished and just the cryptic message was left.
Matt, being an IT person myself, I'm always a bit curious as to what kind of hardware it takes to run various web sites like LinkedIn. Would you be able to share a bit about the servers, storage, etc behind the site? With 25M+ users, it must be pretty impressive. -
Inappropriate?@Bob, I don't know if I'm able to share the hardware statistics, but I'll look into it. Maybe I can talk someone to posting something on the Engineering Blog.
