LinkedIn grinds to a halt...
logging into LinkedIn is impossible for me in Mac OSX.5.8 FF3, even with all add-ons disabled. I see the login page, then submit it, and I get hung up on a blank page with https://www.linkedin.com/secure/login in the url bar. Same computer on Safari logs in, but after sending one invite, gets hung op on any POST request, synchronous or asynchronous. Whats going on with this?

Inappropriate?I found an answer to my own question. For reasons unknown LinkedIn has trouble processing the https connection established between Airport powered wireless local networks and its servers.
The fix: System Preferences --> Network --> (click 'Advanced') --> Ethernet (its a tab in OSX.5.8) --> Configure Manually and for MTU change 1500 to 1200.
Save. Apply. Try LinkedIn again. It works.
