LinkedIn Recommendation Errors!
I have a recommendation I wish to request a replacement for. However, when I click "Send" on the request form, I get a "Please correct the marked field(s) below" error - but, there aren't any fields marked with an "X" though! Every field is filled out correctly What is the problem here?

Inappropriate?I've been trying to get Linkedin to resolve this problem for me also, for the last couple of months. Here's the text of the complaint I posted elsewhere:
"I too have been experiencing serious support issues with Linkedin for the past serveral months now.
Hers's the usual response:
"We understand your concerns and apologize for any inconvenience. We want to reemphasize that the site continues to work for the vast majority of our users. The information has been escalated on to the appropriate parties, but at this time we are not able to provide you with a resolution."
What a load of crock! Like I care that the site works for the "vast majority of users." I want it working for me!
I'm hoping that Linkedin reps trol this site!

Inappropriate?I reported this problem well over a week ago now - going on two. I need a replacement recommendation due to a typo and a couple other inaccuracies. VERY FRUSTRATING that this seemingly simple error with their form hasn't been fixed.
Sort of embarrassing too. The person was nice enough to take the time to write a recommendation in the first place, then we went through the whole headache of trying to revise it using a broken system.

Inappropriate?What is solved for me is the possibility to resend a recommendation request. I had your problem too once, I contacted the support, gave them the link to my profile and they added the recommendations.

LinkedIn customer support is spotty at best. Sacha, it's great that they were able assist you, but what they did appears simple enough for them to have offered that same assistance to the rest of us who have been living with this problem for months.
I would have been a happy camper if they had offered me that assistance from the beginning. I left another message for them to contact me, so we'll see.... -

Inappropriate?It might be a different problem. In my case I received an email saying I got a recommendation but i couldn't find it in my profile. It reported the issue on 2008-11-24 and it was solved two days later on 2008-11-26
