Solved: LinkedIn homepage loading issue

All,

I can't explain why a myriad of different users and machines can't load the LinkedIn.com homepage. It has nothing to do with cookies, OS, etc. BUT I BELIEVE I SOLVED IT and thought I would post the solution here.

I FIXED THIS ISSUE ON A MAC - CHANGING THE MTU SETTINGS ON WIN SHOULD DO IT TOO, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE IT ON WINDOWS THOUGH. I fixed this issue by changing the MTU on my Mac. To do so:
- Go to the Apple Menu
- Choose System Preferences
- Choose Network
- If you're on wireless, choose Airport (otherwise choose Built-in Ethernet) then click the Advanced button on the bottom right.
- Click the Ethernet tab at the top right
- Change Configure from Automatically to Manual
- Change the MTU to 1000
- Click Apply and try getting in to LinkedIn, it should work.
