what if i were to find a fake mini-me with a linkedin account
What can an ex-employee do if a past employer creates fake accounts to make it look like that employee has never left, and is also communicating with other people (via email and LInkedin) as that employee.
Do you consider that activity a form of identity theft? Does Linkedin have any method of verification to determine if fake accounts are created about people in a malicious manner? What is a person supposed to do if a company or individual is pretending to be him or her?

Inappropriate?Lisa, I have also discovered that I have been taken advantage of. There's another Sarah Brockmeyer that's "still at PCI as a Jr. Recruiter" that is NOT me. This profile only has a few connections. I don't want my professional name be tarnished by the actions of this individual that thinks stealing peoples identity to futher his own business is perfectly okay. I'm extremely upset about this. Steve, I'd appreciate your help as well.
