Why can't I confirm, despite following link to do so?
I'm getting the message sent to my primary email and following the link to confirm. Once I log in though, the "Build your Network" page opens with a message at the top: "Confirm Your Email Address: Check your email for a confirmation message from us, or request another one." Tried requesting another, resetting to a different address, and clearing cookies. Nothing worked. Emailed customer support earlier today, but still no response. I'm a new user, so I'm a little frustrated by the whole thing!

Inappropriate?This happened to a coworker and I figured it out. He kept using the safari browser from Mac to follow this link, I suggested he used Mozilla Firefox and voilá! it worked.

I have the same problem but switching browsers does not work for me. I have tried Mozilla Firefox, IE8 and most recently Google Chrome. In addition to not letting me confirm my email address, LinkedIn will not go to any secure area of the website (e.g. Account and Settings) and will not let me upload a profile photo. I really want to use LinkedIn but I'm losing patience.
