Juice has a conflict with Quickdrag & similar extensions. If both are installed and some text or link is dragged (not just in the sidebar, but anywhere on the page) the Juice Sidebar opens up. Expected behavior is to open a new tab with the link or text search (as per Quickdrag). Basically there needs to be an option where Juice takes an action ONLY if the text/link is dragged into the sidebar. Another way is to provide an option to disable drag completely so that the user can search in Juice using right-click context menu.
Cannot find the close Juice sidebar button. Excellent program, but am unable to use it because it takes up a third of my screen real estate, and with no way to close it, it's in my way. Sorry but I can't keep this on my system or recommend it. I'll keep checking back and when you get this problem fixed, I'll be your bestest evangelist!
I would like to have the possibility, to download all stored files (videos and pictures) with one click. I should be able, to mark some or all files and I will asked, in which folder I want to save them. The pics should have the original resolution from their website and not the size of the thumbnail.
So I can browse without interruption and I have no trouble, when I want to get the content I choose.
I got some ideas for upcoming releases of Juice, so that I suggest, it becomes a very smart add-on.
Sort pictures and videos: it would be nice, if I could add comments and/or tags to each file. I also would like to create folders in the sidebar, so that I can store different sessions, themes etc.
Show and tell: I want to show a selection pictures (or a folder) to a friend, so I need an export-function. That could be
- a simple HTML-Site with links to the files (like the bookmark-export in Firefox)
- a more complex HTML-Site with a lightbox. So you can have a nice slideshow of your selected pictures in every browser - maybe in fullscreen (?) as subtitles of the pictures you can see the mentioned comments.
- an interactive PDF with thumbnails of each file (like the contact-print, you can export out of Adobe Bridge or Photoshop). As subtitles you can see the comments again and when you click on the picture, it will open your browser and show you the site with the file in it.
- It should be also possible, that other Juice users can receive folders or pictures from me direct in their sidebar.
I know, it is hard to implement those ideas, but I think, with this functions, Juice could be a very clever must-have tool for your daily work with the internet. So I wish you a lot of success for this project.
My gmail's attach button now opens the windows for me to attach a file rather than opening a bar. I use dragdropupload extension that allows me to attach multiple files at once but Juice's extension is messing with this as I need the bar that comes when I press attach. I'm using the latest version of Juice in Firefox 3.0.6
Juice doesn't work with Firefox 3.0.7 on Mac Os 10.4.11. I can't use any fonction, text drag, photo drag. The video drag works but I can't see on Juice
When I open Juice 0.1.10: The menu doesn't work when I select Magic, Search or settings. I can only use "play the webcast" or "report a problem".
I found a problem that the Youtube video could not be played after the dragged video stayed in the JUICE sidebar for FEW HOURS LATER. The Juice media player screen will display "We're sorry, this video is no longer available". But I had checked the video is still available in Youtube and the link of the video remains the same.
Let me explain clearly. The first time I dragged the Youtube video to the JUICE side bar. The video can be played without any problem in the first few hours. But afterward, the Juice media player screen will display "We're sorry, this video is no longer available". I have to delete the video from JUICE sidebar and re-drag the video again. But the same problem exists again few hours later. I already upgraded to Juice 0.1.7. and tried to re-drag the videos several times. Also, I found that this only happens on Youtube videos. Others are OK.
Would be great if you could change the country of the amazon searches, as I am in the UK the pricing for products is different and i have to click on the American page, and change it to Amazon UK before I can get a price. Just a little something which would make it a lot easier... Do absolutely LOVE this app though! :)
After seeing it highlighted on Mashable, went to install Juice on my Firefox (v 3.0.1) and after running the install, received this message "could not install ... because signing could not be verified" Please advise.

I installed Juice 1.1 BETA, because 1.0 doesn't install on Firefox, saying that 1.0 is only for Firefox (which is "somewhat" strange, because I *am* using Firefox...).
Anyway. Because 1.0 doesn't install, I installed 1.1 BETA. When I now enter something (eg. "what the heck") in the search box, it takes me to http://grabjuice.com/?kw=what+the+heck, see:
I'm using Juice in Flock. I seem to be missing Facebook share functionality. Is this missing in Flock for some reason? Or has it been removed all-together?
Images:
I'm not doing anything with the images in Magic area. How abt if I drag them when I'm selecting images to upload? Also, how abt a slideshow feature? I would also like tghe ability to download them all in go or individually.
Videos:
The videos should automatically delete themselves when they finish playing, There should be a favorite button and section to keep the videos I like. When I drag a video while a current one's playing, the current one stops playing and the new one starts. I want the new one to be added to the playlist which plays the next one once one video's done.
Hi, I could not install Juice on the French version of Firefox 3.0.3. I get a pop-up saying that Juice requires FFox 3... BUT I HAVE FFox 3.0.3... Is there an issue in using Juice with int'l versions of FFox?

It used to work. I don't know exactly when it stopped.
Might have been when I installed the new version.
Or not... maybe I have a conflict with other drag and drop extensions.
I have removed those other drag and drops.
Still, all that happens is the window opens on the right with page of what Juice can do.
