Black Donut or Halo in synth
My synth has a black halo in the center except when I do a slide show. How can I make the halo go away when I stop the slide show? Others that I view don't have the black halo in the center.

Inappropriate?Hi Vic.
The Halo is actually part of our navigation controls (try moving the mouse over the halo, then holding down on the right button while dragging).
The interesting thing is that it comes out black on your screen, instead of being lighted/textured, as it was designed.
Could you tell me what Graphics card/driver/operating system you're using?

Inappropriate?I have the same question.. sorry, my english is bad... sometimes I have the same black halo...
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200 with AGP8x.... Windows XP SP3
Thanks -
Inappropriate? When you put the mouse over the photo, you should see the Halo/Donut/Torus that lets you fly around the object as Joshua describes.
Move the mouse off of the control and the halo should fade out after a couple seconds. Does the halo stay there after you move the mouse away?
How black is your halo? It should look something like illustrated below. Note the left and back side is darker than the front and right side. There is also a white mark showing you where you are and a green mark showing you where you will go if you click.

Inappropriate?sorry, I can't see something like your picture... this "white halo" never is on my synth...:(...
I just can see this:
sometimes, when I move the mouse, the black halo desappears... like this case..
but... when I try to find another side or picture... the halo can appear again, always totally black... like this:
:(......... sad... -
Inappropriate?huh.
The halo is drawn using some d3d shading code. Obviously, this doesn't work for you, resulting in an unshaded halo.
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do for this right immediately, but we'll take a closer look at your hardware/os/driver configuration and try and get it fixed for our next software update.
If you let the image rest for a while (say 5 seconds), does the halo fade away or disappear?
