So... presumably yes. You can see that the Stargate crew are interacting with their synths with javascript here (captions change and links appear, based on where you are in the synth).
Also, if you use the "edit" page for any of your own synths (perhaps this is what prompted your question?) you can see that they are using it within their editing xap.

Another great example that was down for maintenance when I was posting my reply due to the updated viewer but is back online now is the Deep Earth + Photosynth mashup created by John OBrien from Soul Solutions.
I can't exactly volunteer his time, but you could always ask him for tips on how to go about things. It can't hurt to ask! -
