Community-friendly synth replacing
I would love to see Photosynth grow a simple "replace synth" function. A "remove photo" feature won't always cover the work necessary to correct a synth, and manually replacing a synth via an upload-new/delete-old procedure also removes views and comments gathered by the original synth.
Losing props given to the original, imperfect version (and subsequent versions uploaded while trying to correct the synth) is less conducive to creating a fervent community. I am hesitant to fix or perfect a synth at the cost of breaking the original URL and embed (now emailed and blogged), and losing comments or views given to the original version that had built up while I worked out a specific problem.
This, of course, brings up the issue of whether or not "new", replaced synths go to the top of the Recently Synthed list...
