Easier than typing in Deep Zoom URL?
Is there a way to send a Deep Zoom URL to Seadragon Mobile without having to type it in? Some of these Deep Zoom URLs, especially from PhotoZoom, are extremely long. Is there a faster way? It would be great if Seadragon Mobile supported 301 and 302 redirects so that we could use URL shortening services.

Inappropriate? You could build a feed, which you only have to enter once and then can keep updated with new content. Feed loading works with redirects so that you could tinyurl the feed URL. Note that the instructions on the livelabs site for building feeds (here) have an error - the MIME types should be text/xml instead of application/xml. I'll be writing a tutorial with better instructions soon.
The update that will be coming out sometime this week supports redirects for DeepZoom content (so you can tinyurl the path). The currently released version doesn't work with this.
Thanks for the feedback!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I wrote two posts (and code) on constructing an RSS feed for SeaDragon.
For PhotoZoom, you can use a feed-generator that is posted online
http://deepzoompublisher.com/PhotoZoom/rss.aspx?user=PhotoDoc where PhotoDoc could be your PhotoZoom 'username'
HTH
I’m hopeful
